1,500 LABELS - 420 NEW
A SUCCESSFUL LAUNCHING OF SO LOFT
PRÊT À PORTER PARIS®, unique in its fashion diversity, cultivates its position as the largest womenswear wardrobe in both the markets of today and tomorrow, by launching 3 new universes.
SO ETHIC: more than 40 international labels prove that fair trade, organic and the ethical correspond to a strong public demand, but also that a corner has been turned: Ethical is Fashionable. Excellent echo on a media and buyer level, who turned out in force.
Label Testimonials:
Armor Lux
« Recognition of a positive evolution proving that fashion and ethical can at last be reconciled; the excellent reception of our collections in Max Havelaar fair trade cotton, both from our traditional clientele and new clients encountered at the trade fair (mostly French, it’s true); plus the pleasure and honour of welcoming the minister of state for industry to our stand on the 4th September.
Ciel / Great Britain
« So Ethic is a convivial, lively sector of PAPP, ideally placed at the entrance of level 3, which we most appreciated. Attendance was good on Friday, very good Saturday and OK the other days. I saw 50% of my existing buyers, who I had contacted in advance, and made new contacts in Asia and western Europe. I will certainly come back next season.
Article 23 (the fair trade company) / France
« Article 23 is a new label and we’re delighted with the results. We made some very interesting new contacts in Japan, Ireland, France, USA, Denmark, Switzerland and Holland. We’re particularly happy about our new sales outlet in Japan! and really impressed by the visitors.
Kamakala / France
« The fair was ideal for us. Receiving our clients in a large trade fair was both positive and practical, especially with such aesthetic visibility in the very natural, zen look of the sector. The offer at So Ethic was very fashionable, so we felt completely at home, and we now have 5 new sales outlets in France, England and Japan ».
Les Fées de Bengale / France
« The fair was really a true plus for us, making lots of new contacts amongst both the press and buyers. The countries we most often encountered were Belgium, Japan, Great Britain, Holland and Italy.
Attendance was great, the organization competent and very pleasant, and So Ethic is really good value for money. Plus thanks to so Ethic we made the news on TF1! What more can you ask?
La Vie Devant Soie / France
« So Ethic proved to be an extremely positive experience for us on a few different levels, we’re really very satisfied. The sector was very nicely designed and extremely well placed. La Vie Devant Soie now has 15 new sales outlets, including 10 in France, 1 in England, Japan, Italy, Belgium and Greece. And we’re really pleased with the quality of these outlets. My visitors were very pleasantly surprised about the modernity of the offer at So Ethic.

SHIBUYA: reference labels and emerging labels for a mixed 15-25 offer in a very « shibuyette » spirit, a door wide open to all forms of inspiration. A tumult of styles and urban cultures echoing the streets of Shibuya .
Label Testimonials:
Julius and Friends by Paul Frank
Concerning the trade fair, very positive for us, several prospects to be confirmed and awaiting some good press. Finally something new in the sector, something fresh with a universe well adapted to the great majority of the labels present.
My Jok
We have a new client in London, prospects in France, and above all dates for orders to be written with the Bon Marché and Printemps.
The marketing position of Shibuya is interesting, bringing with it a breath of fresh air in the panorama of fashion trade fairs. Taking interest in the 15-25s is taking interest in tomorrow’s clients, plus the target market is quite large as it regroups a whole ensemble of tribes concerning the market’s labels on a whole.
Combhard
SHIBUYA was level 3’s sector of attraction, thanks to its yellow and pink colours, visible from a distance. The Blythe dolls exhibition was an excellent idea, and the sector’s warmth, with breakfast provided in the morning and the champagne happy hour at the end of the day was particularly pleasant!
We made quite a few new contacts, mainly French, and we took orders from boutiques in France, Greece, Great Britain and the United States, as well as from our existing clients |
